13Assembly InstructionsInstallation InstructionsBefore installation, ensure that theend of the pipe to be inserted into thefitting is free of scratches and otherimperfections and that both the pipeand the fitting itself are free of sand,mud, stones, etc. If fittings are reused,ensure that split ring and grip teeth aresharp and bite into the pipe, to avoidpullouts.
