LUB 20014-31 Restriction <strong>of</strong> Development on Slopes in Excess <strong>of</strong> 25%No development permit shall be issued for any building on a slope in excess<strong>of</strong> 25% as determined by site analysis.4-32 Side Yards on Corner LotsNotwithstanding anything else in this By-law, on a corner lot in any zone,except the TH-Zone, no part <strong>of</strong> any building or accessory building shall beerected closer to the lot line <strong>of</strong> the flanking street than twenty-five (25) feet,(7.62 metres). In the TH-Zone, no part <strong>of</strong> any building or accessory buildingshall be erected closer to the lot line <strong>of</strong> the flanking street than 20 feet, (6.1metres), if a local street, or 30 feet, (9.14 metres), if an arterial or collectorroad.4-33 Special Criteria for Development within Areas Subject to FloodingSee Part 234-34 Special Criteria for Site PlansSee Part 244-35 Special <strong>Use</strong>s PermittedNothing in this By-law shall prevent the use <strong>of</strong> land or the use or erection <strong>of</strong>a building or structure for a scaffold or other temporary buildings orstructures including a sales or rental <strong>of</strong>fice, incidental to construction inprogress until such construction has been finished or discontinued for aperiod <strong>of</strong> sixty days (60) or unless no development permit is in force.4-36 Special Provisions: Arterial Roads<strong>The</strong> following special provisions shall apply to a lot fronting upon an arterialroad as designated in the Municipal Planning Strategy <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong><strong>Kentville</strong>.(a)Except for buildings fronting upon Main Street, Webster Street,Aberdeen Street, and Cornwallis Street (from the intersection <strong>of</strong> MainStreet to the Cornwallis Bridge) in the Commercial General (C-1)29
