Jennifer Liu is a well-established female serial
entrepreneur based in Hong Kong. She is the Founder &
Chairman of ‘JWF International Limited’ and ‘Sir Hudson
Hospitality Limited’, which operates 30 outlets in retail,
cafes/restaurants, The Coffee Academy and Roasting Studio and a 5000 square
feet food production kitchen. Her enterprise employs 450 people under the
brands ‘THE ACADEMICS’, ‘HABITU’, ‘Suzuki Cafe Co.’ and various others.
Her latest business ventures include the two storey flagship ‘THE ACADEMICS’
which comprises of coffee, tea, chocolates and skin care.
She heads the ‘JWF Design Associates’ - a boutique design house specializing in
hospitality and retail and receiving international recognition. In November 2012,
Jennifer launched her first private jewelry collection ‘PRIVEO’, which features
designs using rose gold and black diamonds.
Jennifer graduated from Cornell University New York, with a Bachelor of
Architecture degree. She is also a member of the Owner/President Program
2013-2015 of Harvard Business School.
A firm believer in Corporate Social Responsibility, Jennifer goes to great lengths
to support different charity events. As an advocate of green lifestyle, she takes
part in campaigns such as ‘Table for Two’, ‘Green Monday’ and ‘Clean Air Act’, all
of which have been carried out with encouraging responses from the public. She
is the corporate advisor of Tung Wah Group Hospitals in Hong Kong for ibakery
cafe which hires only mentally handicapped people. Most notably, however, is her
contribution and key role as the co-convenor of NarrativeHK, a NGO on the
exploration of a common 20 year vision of Hong Kong with over 100 active
corporate and individual members since its incorporation in Oct 2012.
Jennifer is selected by South China Morning Post as one of the most inspiring and
influential women in their edition of ‘25 Women of our Time 2012’. She is the

keynote speaker of many conferences including Women Entrepreneur - Asia
Society Hong Kong, TED x Event, ‘Women Extraordinaire Forum 2012’, CUHK
Entrepreneurial Club, American Chamber of Commerce, ‘UBS LEADS Talk 2012’,
‘Money Cafe’ of iCable HK and Metro Radio. Her efforts are well recognized by
others as she and her Companies had won numerous important awards, including
‘Friends of Social Enterprise 2011’ by HKSAR Government, ‘Hong Kong Prestige
Brand Award 2011’ by Ming Pao and Chinese University of Hong Kong,
Distinguished Marketing Leadership Award by HKMA and TVB, The Best CEO
