We have started torole out our new strategy and the changes resulting from this are bringinggreat opportunities, but as always with change, uncertainty amongstthose involved.In the past 130 years of the NSPCC’s existence, it has earned a veryhigh reputation as a leading children’s charity. This reputation has beenearned both by a very committed, experienced and knowledgeable staffand an enviable network of volunteers, but also by its ability to change.Results from high quality internal research as well as the recognition ofchanges in society give us the ability to adapt our practices and servicesaccordingly without ever losing our aim of preventing cruelty to children.Sadly an increasing number of children need our help and with the newstrategy it is hoped to focus and practise our work better to help manymore children.
