This Regulation sets forth policyand guidelines of the OHMR for mandatoryretirement of all officer and enlistedpersonnel.Supersedes. This regulation supersedesOHMR-R 635-1, 01 February 2011.Applicability. This regulation applies to allpersonnel of the <strong>Ohio</strong> <strong>Military</strong> <strong>Reserve</strong>.Supplementation. Supplementation of thisregulation and establishment of commandand local policies is strictly prohibited.Suggested Improvements. Purpose. This regulation sets forthpolices and procedures for the mandatoryretirement of members of the OHMR.2. Authority for Action.a. The authority for the mandatoryretirement of all OHMR personnel is Section5923.03 of the Revised Code of <strong>Ohio</strong>.b. Age 67 is the mandatoryretirement age under paragraph a. above.c. This age limit will be enforcedregardless of the desire of the individualconcerned or the needs of the OHMR.3. Announcement of Retirement. Theretirement of an individual will be announcedin orders issued by HQOHMR.4. Ceremonies. Retiring members will berecognized in appropriate ceremonies duringtraining in the training year in which theyattain retirement age.d. Individuals will retire at the end ofthe training year (01 Oct - 30 Sep) in whichthey reach their 67 th birthday.i
