Unlike an ordinary silveroxide battery, the secondary battery does not require periodicreplacement.The capacity or charging efficiency may gradually lower due tolong-term use or operating environment. In addition, long-termuse may shorten the charge duration due to wear, contamination,lubricant deterioration of mechanical parts, etc. Request repairwhen the performance lowers.WARNINGNotes on replacing the second battery• Do not remove the secondary battery from the watch.Replacement of the secondary battery requires professionalknowledge and skill. Please ask the retailer from whom thewatch was purchased for replacement of the secondary battery.• Installation of an ordinary silver oxide battery can generateheat that can cause bursting and ignition.‣ Overcharge prevention functionWhen the secondary battery is fully charged, the overchargeprevention function is automatically activated to avoid furthercharging. There is no need to worry about damage caused byovercharging no matter how much the secondary battery is chargedin excess of the "time required for fully charging the watch".‣ Refer to "Standard charging time" on page 11 to check the time required for fullycharging the watch.WARNINGNotes on charging the watch• When charging the watch, do not place the watch in closeproximity to an intense light source such as lighting equipmentfor photography, spotlights or incandescent lights, as thewatch may be excessively heated resulting in damage to itsinternal parts.• When charging the watch by exposure to direct sunlight,avoid places that easily reach high temperatures, such as a cardashboard.• Always keep the watch temperature under 60°C.‣ When the watch has not been charged for a long timeIf the watch has not been charged for a long time, the watch will becompletely discharged and no longer able to be charged.In this case, consult the retailer from whom the watch waspurchased.40
