to the unemployed, the poor and peer support<br />
counselling for teens.<br />
Hosted a series <strong>of</strong> Community Forum Luncheons<br />
on topics and social issues <strong>of</strong> concern<br />
in the community including “Youth Violence<br />
in <strong>Windsor</strong>”.<br />
1993 With support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation,<br />
introduced program to encourage<br />
and support newcomers to volunteer within<br />
mainstream organizations.<br />

2001 Launched Leadership <strong>Windsor</strong> <strong>Essex</strong>, a<br />
program designed to foster the growth <strong>of</strong><br />
community leaders across all sectors.<br />
2006 Produced the <strong>Windsor</strong>-<strong>Essex</strong> <strong>County</strong> Well-<br />
Being Report, a planning document which<br />
provides snap shot <strong>of</strong> the social, economic<br />
and environmental factors which affect the<br />
quality <strong>of</strong> life for residents <strong>of</strong> <strong>Windsor</strong>-<strong>Essex</strong><br />
<strong>County</strong>.<br />
Conducted and community-wide review <strong>of</strong><br />
human service programs and services, identified<br />
gaps and areas <strong>of</strong> concern and recommended<br />
strategies.<br />
Shifted focus and priority to building on existing<br />
community supports and investing in<br />
root causes and prevention.<br />
