St John Ambulance in Wiltshire is<br />

actively seeking volunteer youth leaders to help<br />

with its youth units in <strong>Pewsey</strong>. Full training will<br />

be given for this rewarding and satisfying way<br />

<strong>of</strong> helping your local community. You will work<br />

alongside other experienced leaders who will<br />

be able to <strong>of</strong>fer advice and guidance. Please<br />

are interested.<br />

St John Ambulance would also like to take this<br />

opportunity to express its appreciation and<br />

gratitude to Ms Joanne Parkin, who has<br />

recently stepped down from <strong>Pewsey</strong> youth for<br />

personal reasons, for her work and<br />

commitment over the last six years.<br />

Hall at Marlborough College will become an<br />

exciting marketplace with over 60 exhibitors<br />

selling superb plants, plant supports, obelisks,<br />

garden furniture, garden antiques, tools for the<br />

gardener, conservatory furniture, accessories<br />

and decorative items, beautiful silk flowers,<br />

summer foods and drink, summer clothing for<br />

all the family ... and much more. Don't miss it!<br />

Delicious homemade refreshments available all<br />

day.<br />

Open from 10am to 4pm, with an entry fee <strong>of</strong><br />

£4, and free car parking available at the<br />

College, the Spring Fair is a fund-raising event<br />

PEWSEY BRIDGE CLUB<br />

Play bridge every Wednesday evening from<br />

7pm. We play at the Methodist Hall, <strong>Pewsey</strong><br />

(opposite the Post Office) on Goddard Road.<br />

Usually there are four tables and sometimes<br />

more in play. Whenever possible we play<br />

duplicate but when numbers dictate otherwise<br />

we play Chicago (score adjusted by your HCP).<br />

It is a social and friendly club with all levels <strong>of</strong><br />

play and you don’t need to have a partner and<br />

you can play on an occasional basis if you wish.<br />

We charge £2 per session. If you fancy a game<br />

or would like more information then give Dave<br />
