<strong>ANNUAL</strong> <strong>REPORT</strong> <strong>2010</strong><strong>sub</strong>-<strong>Branch</strong>Women’s Auxiliary ReportLast year went by us too quickly. Office Bearerswere all returned to their same positions. Thereare nineteen (19) members consisting of five (5)life members and fourteen (14) ordinarymembers. Members attended Dawn Service andserved breakfast to all. Other events were ANZAC& Remembrance Services, State Congress,Children’s Christmas Party, Luncheons held by the<strong>sub</strong>-<strong>Branch</strong> and invitations from other auxiliaries.Money was raised for the Welfare & BenevolentInstitution by having street stalls, Easter andChristmas competitions, outings and selling ofANZAC badges and poppies.I would like to thank the Board of Directors,General Manager – Alan & staff, members of the<strong>sub</strong>-<strong>Branch</strong> & <strong>RSL</strong> club for their support duringthe year. Special thanks to Auxiliary members fortheir donations and support during the year.The Auxiliary meets 1st Tuesday of each month inthe <strong>sub</strong>-<strong>Branch</strong> room at 10.00am, new memberswelcomed.Good health and thanks to one & all.M. We were joined byrepresentatives from State <strong>Branch</strong> of <strong>RSL</strong> andDepartment of Veterans Affairs alsorepresentatives from <strong>Blacktown</strong> <strong>sub</strong>-<strong>Branch</strong>,Deputy Board Chairman Mr Gary Ohlson and MrAlan Greenwood representing State Co-ordinatorof Day Clubs.During proceedings Ms Margaret Morganpresented a ten year volunteer badge to Mrs JuneRayner and to 5 of our original volunteers’certificates and badges for 25 year service. Thesewere Mrs B. Fayle, Mrs M. O’Connor, Mrs G.Morris, Mrs B. Lane and Mrs B. Barnes. <strong>RSL</strong> Clubstaff provided the usual delicious meal with thebirthday cake donated by Mrs Barnes.The club has had a couple of days out to LithgowWorkers Club and to Mittagong <strong>RSL</strong> for lunch aftera tour of the area. Hopefully when the weather iswarmer we will have more before year’s end.Thanks to Club management we are stilloccupying our usual area and new members arewelcome. We meet every Monday between10.00am and 2.00pm (except public holidays).Please phone Mrs B. Fayle on 9624 5196 or leavea message at the Club. Grateful thanks to Mr A.Middleton and his efficient staff and boardmembers for their support and co-operation.Thanks also to Mr W. Norris OAM, Mr K.
