Leica Digicat xf-Series Benefits• State-of-the-art Digital SignalProcessing (DSP) technology• Automatic controls – makingthe Digicat easy-to-use, requiringminimal user training• Mode Lock – The Digicat startsin the last mode of operationassisting the survey process• Hazard Zone feature indicatingshallow buried service in power,8 kHz, 33 kHz Auto, 512 Hz,640 Hz modes• Built-in test function – allowingoperators to test the hardwareand software functionality ofthe Digicat before use• LCD screen with built-in lightsensor, automatically enablingthe backlight in dark conditions• Robust, lightweight designspecifically engineered fortough site conditions• Service Due Indicator supportingplanned maintenance schedulesor quality systems by displayinga wrench icon after 12 monthsThe Leica Digicat xf locators have multiple modes of operation allowing users to have maximum control attheir fingertips.AutoAuto ModeAutomatically locates power or radiosignals, helping to confirm the presenceof services upon initial site occupationmaking cable detection easier and safer.Radio ModeTraces signals originating from distantradio transmitters. These signalspenetrate the ground and are reradiatedby buried conductive services.Power ModeLocates power signals radiated byenergised cables which pose the mostsignificant risk to excavation teams.512Hz640Hz8kHz33kHzTransmitter ModesLocates a specific signal applied by theDigitex signal transmitter to a metallicunderground conductor.512 Hz & 640 HzEnables long distance tracing8 kHzMid-range distance tracing33 kHzStandard tracing frequency onavoidance locators, used for everydaysite use

Logicat SoftwareSimply upload stored recordsDetection ModeAllows managers to judge the qualityand thoroughness of work. As morecomprehensive ground surveys areconducted the locator records the modeof operation, including the use of asignal transmitter.Service DetectionDiscovers quickly if any buried serviceswere detected during surveys and evendetermines the signal strength shownon the locator.Logicat software allows you to uploadstored records from the Digicat 600i xfand 650i xf to view the locator's use, simply upload all records or search bydate. Upload information includes:Time and DateIdentifies when and at what timeground surveys were conducted.Usage DurationDetermines how long survey teamssearched for buried services and revealsactual product utilisation.User IdentificationEncourages users to becomeaccountable for their actions andidentifies those who need additionalproduct training.Product Fleet ManagementDisplays and monitors the service andcalibration dates of your locator fleet, ensuring they are kept in perfectworking order and not being used whencalibration is due.Diagnostic CheckDisplays locators which have failed theEST (Extended Self Test) and removesthem from the active fleet forimmediate repair. This reduces thepossibility of defective equipment beingused on site.Management ReportsProduces basic statistical reports fromthe logged data, allowing users to seehow products are utilised and howground survey teams are using them onsite.

Leica Digitex 100t xf & 300t xfSignal transmittersThe newly developed Leica Digitex xf signal transmittersdeliver a higher power output than previous models with theaddition of extra low tracing frequencies.
