It is intendedto provide an overview and update on clinically relevant topics in diagnostic imaging ofthe breast including recent developments in the subspecialty. A practical approach isemphasized through formal didactic lectures covering core topics in breast imaging andconcepts reinforced by interactive workshops in a small group setting. DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY MINI-COURSE (OPTIONAL)January 12–13, 2009About the CourseConcurrent with the five-day breast imaging program, an optional two-day mini-<strong>course</strong> infull-field digital-mammography will be available to registrants on Monday and Tuesdayafternoons (following the regular sessions). This <strong>course</strong> provides an additional 7.0 hoursof digital mammography credit for a total of 8.75 hours of formal CME training in digitalmammography which fulfills the requirements for initial MQSA accreditation.This <strong>course</strong> will provide a concentrated overview of the current status of and recentclinical developments in full-field digital mammography for both breast imagingspecialists and general radiologists.
