Staff within smaller councilsor in rural locations can benefit from our ‘Free Sampling’ Service. Employees can order plainstock samples (no embroidery) in their estimated sizes to verify fit, prior to placing an order.These samples will be invoiced to your Local Government account. Once employees haveestablished their sizes, samples are to be returned to Yakka. All samples must be returned inthe same condition as received without soils or stains and with all swing tickets intact and inoriginal packaging. Once the garments are returned the account will be credited. All fittingsamples must be returned within 21 days and Yakka will be responsible for all freight charges.DELIVERYIt is our aim to dispatch uniform orders, within 15 working days of order receipt, includinghaving your logo embroidered! As the Hard Yakka workwear range is stock service, there maybe rare instances where we do not have a particular size in stock. On those occasions, the bulkof your order will be dispatched in 15 working days, meaning you will never be without someitems of your uniform. The remaining items will be on back-order for delivery as soon aspossible. Any items remaining on back order will be shown on your delivery / invoice docket.The Customer Service team can assist with expected delivery dates for items on back-order.EMBROIDERYYakka offer Local Governments the choice of the national LGW branding or their own individualLocal Government crest or logo. All Logos and branding are Embroidered onto garments ordered.Please complete the embroidery question on your order form to indicate which branding isrequired. Your local Sales Representative can provide a quote for your embroidery requirements.THE YAKKA EMBROIDERY POLICYThe embroidery procedures for the LGW uniform supply are:• Each Council Wardrobe Coordinator must sign a ‘LGW Logo Verification Form’ stating whichmonogramming options the council is choosing (i.e. LGW logo or specific council logo).• If a council is choosing their specific logo, Wardrobe Coordinators must complete a ‘MonogramRequest Form’ and sign off on embroidery samples prior to orders being completed.• All Embroidery for LGW is completed as per the standard rules of application:Upper Garments – Monogramming will be located in the standard position of the chest, lefthand side. If the garment has a pocket it is to be centered above the pocket.Lower Garments – Monogramming will be located in the standard position of back right, underthe waistband.PRICINGYakka offer exceptional prices to Local Government. Our price lists are available from ourCustomer Service team or your local sales representative. Our prices are inclusive of deliveryand GST. Our Hard Yakka prices are exclusive of embroidery. Embroidery quotes will be providedon request by our Sales Representatives.PAYMENT OPTIONSYakka offer two payment options to Local Government. If your uniform order is employer fundedby your Local Government or Council, your order form must be accompanied by a validpurchase order number and the order will be charged to the council’s trading account andinvoiced monthly. Please note that your orders cannot be processed without a valid purchaseorder number. Yakka also accept credit card payments for staff purchasing their own uniformitems. Simply place your credit card and payment details in the space provided on the firstpage of the order form. Credit card payments are processed at the time the order is processed.ENJOY SAVINGS ON YOUR TAXTo ensure eligibility to AusIndustry's Approved Clothing Guidelines there are certain guidelinesthat have been set out by the Australian Government. Colour/pattern combinations should beselected in line with the employee numbers within each class of employees. Garments must be returned within 21 days of receipt. Non embroidered garmentsused as samples must be in the same condition in which they were supplied with allpackaging and labelling attached. A copy of the original invoice must also be included.A return authority number must be accompanying any returns. Returns authority numbers areprovided by contacting the Customer Service Centre on 1800 644 517. All quality returns willbe accepted subject to the Yakka Warranty.
