4.2 Regional and international provisions for HIV and AIDS prevention,care and supportThe appropriateness of legislative and policy frameworks to steering an effective HIV nationalresponse depends on the extent to which that country complies with various regional andinternational declarations and conventions to which it is signatory, and also the extent to whichpolicies and frameworks take into account the diverse interests of different stakeholders.
