ScaleBlocker ® is recommended for convection steamers to help minimize limescale<br />
build-up and corrosion which can dramatically affect the operation of your steamer<br />
or boiler and result in downtime or service calls. It’s a safe and economical way to<br />
maintain your Vulcan steam equipment.<br />

All Vulcan steamers supplied with ScaleBlocker ®<br />
water filtration system are standard with a 1-year<br />
Original Equipment Warranty and a Second Year<br />
Limited Extended Warranty. Use of other water filter<br />
systems, other branded cartridges or knockoffs will<br />
make your steamer ineligible for the Second Year<br />
Limited Extended Warranty coverage, and still require<br />
that you properly maintain the steamer and pressure<br />
steam boiler under the Original Equipment Warranty.<br />
The Vulcan ScaleBlocker ® system, when you receive<br />
it, may not be correctly configured for local water<br />
conditions. The installer or you must verify water<br />
quality using the supplied test strips and forward<br />
a site condition form to Vulcan for evaluation and<br />
further recommendations if deemed necessary by<br />
Vulcan. Failure to provide such form to Vulcan or to<br />
comply with any recommendations made by Vulcan<br />
will void the Original Equipment Warranty and the<br />
Extended Warranty coverage. The pressure steam<br />
boiler shell has a 7-year prorated boiler shell warranty<br />
standard. Boiler shells that have not been properly<br />
maintained will not be considered for proration<br />
or replacement. There is no labor compensation<br />

Extended Warranty at No Charge!<br />
When you install and maintain the ScaleBlocker, ® you’ll receive at no charge a<br />
Limited Extended Warranty on specified water-related components. See warranty<br />
statement below or contact your Vulcan Representative for more details.<br />
Warranty for Vulcan Steamers with ScaleBlocker®Water Filtration System<br />
beyond the 1-year Original Equipment Warranty or<br />
the Extended Warranty contract coverage. Factory<br />
inspection of the failed parts may be required. The<br />
following pressure steam boiler maintenance supplies<br />
carry a 90-day parts warranty; boiler hand gaskets,<br />
filter cartridges, cathodic descalers or anodes and<br />
other consumables. The ScaleBlocker ® system must<br />
be installed according to installation instructions.<br />
ScaleBlocker ® cartridge replacement records must be<br />
available showing scheduled 6 month replacements<br />
to maintain the warranty. THERE ARE NO OTHER<br />
WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING<br />
THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND<br />
FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The Limited<br />
Second Year Warranty covers the following waterrelated<br />
parts: Fill Solenoids, CWC Solenoids, Drain<br />
Solenoids, Probes, Elements, High Limit Thermostat,<br />
Preheat Thermostat, Atmospheric Steam Generator<br />
Shell, Pressure Steam Boiler Shell, Cooling Solenoids,<br />
High Limit Controls. Other parts that fail will be the<br />
owner-user's responsibility. Second Year Warranty is<br />
limited to parts and labor as long as the prescribed<br />
Preventive Maintenance is followed.<br />
