Telescopic/knuckleboom cranes
The development of the TTS series of general purpose cranes is founded on decades
of experience, with an emphasis on providing flexible solutions. The design and
selection of components is based on a high degree of standardisation, giving proven
solutions with a high degree of durability through years of exposure in harsh
environments. Typical applications are tankers, dry cargo and offshore vessels.
TELESCOPIC / KNUCKLEBOOM CRANES
Knuckle jib crane
(Type GPCK and GPK)
Using an articulated jib of either
knuckle or folding type, the jib
head can be presented close to
the load in order to minimise the
pendulum effect. A minimum of
space is needed for stowing the
crane in parked position.
For order enquiries, the
minimum information needed is
as follows:
• Lifting capacity (SWL,
tonnes)
• Maximum working radius (m)
• Pedestal height, if different
from the standard 1.1 to
1.5m, depending on crane size
Applications
• Open sea
• Ship to ship
• Continuous operation
Type GPCK
Type GPK

Type GPT
Telescopic crane
(Type GPT)
As with the knuckle jib crane,
a shorter stowage length is
achieved. Extremely short jibs
can also be supplied using
double/triple telescopic versions.
It can be combined with the
knuckle jib version (type GPKT).
the pedestal to the deck and
connecting the power cable
• No electric slip ring
• Failsafe brakes on all
movements
• Welded box boom (jib) for
