Plumeria alba - Pagoda tree/White Frangipanai. Plumeria alba is a large ev ergreen shrub with narrow elongated leav es, large highly perf umed white f lowers with a y ellow center. Originally f rom Central America and the Caribbean. Plumeria caracasana - Very beautif ul and unusual ev ergreen medium sized f rangipani tree. It is closely related to Plumeria pudica and has the same beautif ul dark green, glossy , spoon shaped leav es but rows into a tree and the leav es are much larger and f rond like giv ing a v ery tropical rainf orest plant look. The tree does not sucker f rom the lower trunk. It grows into a beautif ully shaped tree with a clean trunk with v ery smooth silv er grey bark. Plumeria sericifolia - Nativ e to the Hispaniola, Cuba and the Yucatan Peninsula. Upright plants f orming a v ase or umbrellashaped tree. The semi-ev ergreen leav es are elliptical to lance-shaped, leathery , arranged spirally around the stems at the ends of the branches, smooth and the smallest of the Plumeria species.The white, f ragrant f lowers with y ellow ey es are f unnel-shaped ending in petal-like lobes which usually ov erlap to the lef t. Gardenia subacaulis - Originates f rom Zambia. This Gardenia produces v ery large underground stems (known as lignotubers) to be able to withstand v eld f ires.
