When we catalogedthis very piece in our 1999 Hard Times Sale (#430) we commentedthat, “Ernie Keusch, who has cataloged and collected this series formany years, knows of only two other examples of this 1931 medalin silver and is not aware of silver strikings of any of the othermedals in this series.” Its rarity was borne out by the auction result- $329.00!
