Foundation Scholarships - Northeast Community College

Responding to our Region’s needs
training our region’s workforce is what Northeast
Community College is all about. Because we are locally
governed, we are able to respond quickly when new
industries come about, when our existing workforce
needs to learn new skills, and when area businesses are
looking to expand.
in just the last few years, Northeast has implemented
program options for wind energy, renewable fuels,
graphic design, rural agribanking, and industrial
technician to respond to the needs of area employers.
Renewable Fuels
in order to keep tuition and property taxes affordable,
Northeast Community College continually looks for
other funding sources to finance the start-up costs for
new programs and services. Private donations, grants,
and federal appropriations provide these critical funds,
allowing Northeast to continue to respond to area
needs.

J. Paul & Eleanor McIntosh College of Nursing in Norfolk
Our partnerships with the University of Nebraska Medical
Center to build the College of Nursing and with Wayne
State College to build the College Center are direct results
of our Board of Governors and administration listening to
the needs of our employers.
