Editor’s
Message...
First of all a very happy, healthy and successful New Year to our
Look Good...Feel Better friends all over the country.... and indeed
worldwide, as this ‘magazine’ also goes to our LGFB ‘family’ in 20
countries around the globe.
We decided to wait to release our Winter 2008/2009 issue until we’d
had our wonderful 10th Anniversary Carol Concert and everyone
had a chance to get over their pre and post Christmas
commitments, deadlines, end of year finances, sales and everything
else that seems to catch up with us in December.
We hope you will enjoy seeing some photographs and
details from the Concert and more news on LGFB
activities over the past few months.
As so many of you will know, 2008 was a milestone year
for Look Good...Feel Better. In May, we launched our 50th
hospital – and later our 51st and 52nd! We also released
our new advertising and communications materials and
announced our new ambition – “to have the ability to reach out to
every woman diagnosed with cancer in the UK”. To achieve this
challenging target we have almost completed a patient support DVD
and booklet set - the LGFB “Confidence Kit”.
Available in March, these materials feature our 12-step programme
in detail; show scarf tying and other head coverings; give advice on
hand and nail care plus a fantastic section on wig selection and
cutting. This will be a ‘first’ and is a new ‘arm’ to our Programme –
available as ‘hard’ copies and also downloadable through our new
website. The website itself will be relaunched in January and we are
exceptionally grateful to Boots for their support for this vital initiative.
2009 is set to be another busy year and we look forward to keeping
in touch to let you know how our Programme is growing and
evolving - enabling us to reach out to many more thousands of
women with cancer who greatly need and value our service.
With my thanks to all our friends and supporters.
Executive Director, LGFB UK
The Stars of Christmas
The stars definitely twinkled and
shone very brightly at St. George’s
Church on Monday 8th December
2008! This was the 10th Carol
Concert, masterminded by musical
impresario and Honorary Life
President of LGFB UK, Richard
Bradley. As Susan Taylor,
Chairman of LGFB UK, summed
it up: “Every year, Richard delivers
a Concert programme that is
more musically uplifting and this
event has become a firm
Industry favourite.”
Many guests and some of the musical stars
have taken part in all ten concerts - Angela
Henckel, a wonderful soprano, has sung at
every concert, each time challenging her
amazing repertoire and Ivor Setterfield, maestro
extraordinaire, has in Richard’s own words
“brought an extraordinary musical ebullience”
to each of the nine concerts he has conducted.
Some of the superstar performances of the
past decade include: the Choristers of St.
Thomas-on-the-Bourne, Farnham with their
version of Pa-ra-pa-pum-pum in 2003; Elena
Vorotko’s own piano arrangement of The Flower
Waltz from Nutcracker in 2004; and in more
recent years, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot from
the wonderful bass-baritone Njabulo Madlala
and Katy Elman on her Marimba (the amazing
giant ‘xylophone’ last year). For this year’s
concert, the diversification continued with a
Ciarán Devane, Chief Executive,
Macmillan Cancer Support
beautiful, spine-tingling
rendition of Danny Boy by
flautist Gareth McLearnon
accompanied by Paul
Ayres on the piano and a
mesmerising performance
from baritone James
Cleverton who sang a
spirited excerpt from
The Barber of Seville
and a beautiful duet with
soprano Laura Mitchell
from The Marriage of
Figaro. Talented trumpet
soloist Sarah Field also
dazzled the audience with her solo pieces and
accompaniment to many of the carols.
Susan Taylor, in her address, gave special
thanks to Richard Bradley for “harnessing a
veritable Milky Way of musical delight” at this
milestone event in the Industry calendar.
Continuing with analogies of stars and heavenly
bodies, Susan said that: “The LGFB star is
shining brighter than ever, with the consistent
stars of the Head Office team and all the
beautician and volunteer stars who give the
most practical and inspirational support, not
forgetting the stellar range of over 40 brands,
who provide products, staff support and
expertise which enables the LGFB programme
to continue to grow and expand its service”.
St. George’s was absolutely packed and once
the concert had finished and the last chords of
“O come, all ye faithful” had died down,
everyone enjoyed
wine and mince pies and the opportunity to
catch up with colleagues and friends. Spotted
amongst the crowd were Diana Moran, the
original Green Goddess and TV presenter;
Charles Worthington, top international hair
stylist and Barbara Daly, make-up artist to the
stars alongside beauty consultants, LGFB
Board Members and LGFB Programme
participants. Heartfelt thanks go out to our
sponsors, supporters and wonderful Carol
Concert helpers who welcomed guests, served
drinks and mince pies and generously helped
us clear up afterwards!
Now here’s an early date for your new diaries....
next year’s Concert will be on Monday 14th
December and we look forward to seeing
you there!
Look Good...Feel Better
Beauty Editors’ Day
Annabel Jones (Eve) and Jazz Kaur (Guerlain)
On Saturday September 20th
2008 the Beauty Industry came
together once again for the
second Look Good…Feel Better
Beauty Editors’ Day hosted by
Selfridges. Twenty-four Editors
and beauty industry experts from
leading magazines and national
newspapers worked alongside
counter staff from twentyfour
prestige beauty
brands to give
consumers a truly
enjoyable day. Editors,
counter staff and PRs
all worked tirelessly to
help raise money and
awareness for Look
Good…Feel Better and
the free service we
provide for women
going through cancer
treatment.
Spirits were high as everyone
converged on Selfridges on a
sunny Autumn Saturday
morning. After a quick briefing
by Stephanie Traore
(Selfridges) and Sarahjane
Robertson (LGFB) everyone
dispersed to ‘their’ counter to
Estee Lauder Team
prepare for the
start of the event.
Consumers had
pre-booked
one-to-one
appointments
with their favourite
Beauty Editor for
a £20 donation
to the charity and
also received a
mini makeover
or massage by
counter staff.
The Beauty Editors did a fabulous job offering
advice, make-up tips and skincare solutions
and of course the odd beauty industry secret!
At the end of the appointment each person
was presented with a luxurious goody-bag
from the brand. Many readers came with a
whole list of questions for ‘their’ Editor and
one even had her appointment booked by
her boyfriend who felt she could do with a
make-over…brave man!
After 15 gruelling
appointments each and a
hectic day of non-stop
talking and smiling,
everyone went home
exhausted yet
exhilarated. Vogue
Beauty Director
Nicola Moulton
commented, “The
LGFB Beauty Editors’
Day is a wonderful
thing to be a part of.
It’s great that we can
raise awareness about
such a brilliant charity
and it also gives all of
us Beauty Editors a
chance to chat to readers
about their beauty
concerns.
It’s a humbling, enlightening and
worthwhile day!”
Charlotte McCarthy (Jo Malone) and Emma Hill
(YOU Magazine)
Nicola Moulton (Vogue)
Event Highlights!
The day was a huge success, exceeding
expectations and even selling out a week
before the actual event. Extensive coverage
was achieved in all the glossy magazines,
weekend supplements and national press as
well as on-line exposure on sites such as
TimesOnline.com, HarpersBazaar.com,
MarieClaire.com and Cosmopolitan.com.
The fantastic coverage this year helped us to
achieve some outstanding results - the overall
editorial and on-line coverage reached a
circulation of over 16 million with a readership
well in excess of that.
This year, Selfridges also kindly donated one
of their award-winning windows at the front of
the store, which helped to create an extra
‘buzz’ and heightened awareness prior to the
event. In total over £24,000 was raised
through ticket sales, fundraising on the day
and donations from Selfridges and all the
brands involved.
Laura Bacharach, Beauty Director of
Company Magazine, participated in the event
for the first time, “It was a real privilege to
take part in the LGFB Beauty Editors’ day.
It's always great to have a chance to meet
readers face-to-face and doing it for a good
cause is even better. I liked the fact that
some readers had bought an appointment as
a birthday treat for a best friend, mothers
brought their daughters and vice-versa.
I think the day will go from strength to
strength with the potential to raise even more
money and awareness each year.”
Alexandra Friend, Beauty Editor of Zest
Magazine wrote to LGFB after the event
“I am looking back on the Selfridges day with
fondness, it was such fun and apart from
being such a worthwhile thing to do, it was
lovely to see all the Editors and PRs in the
same place at the same time. I don’t think
I have ever seen anything like it.”

Regional News and Activity - in detail!
BELFAST
Marcus Hunter-Neill has been a LGFB
volunteer for six years and when he took over
as Regional Co-ordinator for Belfast in May,
he felt that there was a need to create greater
awareness of LGFB in the area. Having been
a make-up artist for fashion shows in the
past, he thought this would be the perfect
vehicle. His concept was a fashion show for
‘real’ women - “not size 6 and six foot tall
because cancer doesn’t discriminate, it
affects women of all shapes, sizes and ages.”
As there was no budget, Marcus started a
PR campaign via email to his contacts
explaining about his concept and LGFB,
asking everybody whether they could help or
forward his email to their contacts to see if
any other people could assist. “The ripple
effect”, as Marcus describes it, worked
wonders! Within days, Partners Hairdressers
offered their services for free; ‘real’ models
came forward; support was given from the
Ramada Hotel in Belfast; music provided and
clothes lent from local boutiques.
The Ramada Hotel kindly provided publicity
by producing a flyer on the show, and Marcus
appeared on radio and gained coverage in
the local press. Ticket sales were so high that
the show had to be moved from the Ramada
Day Spa to the Grand Ballroom. Over 450
people attended the show, which was hosted
by Marcus!
“I felt great that I was able to publicise LGFB
and raise its profile in this way” said Marcus,
who admits that he had never organised
anything like this before. It was such a
success that plans are already under way for
another show in May 2009. Marcus says:
“It was absolutely fantastic how everyone
pulled out all the stops to help and I’m
already thinking how I can improve it for next
time.” We’ve no doubt that with his
infectious enthusiasm, innate Irish charm and
his passion for his role and LGFB, the next
event Marcus puts on will be even bigger and
better enabling us to help even more women
in Northern Ireland. Well done Marcus!
COLCHESTER
Debbie Blackwell, LGFB Regional Coordinator
for Colchester since LGFB started
at Essex County Hospital in October 2007,
has organised a number of events in 2008
achieving fantastic results in terms of
fundraising and press coverage. Debbie
works closely with Karen Reeves, Breast Care
Secretary and Liz Backhouse, Cancer
Counsellor at Essex County Hospital in
organising and putting on LGFB workshops,
and as Debbie explains: “The three of us
work very well together”. Judging by the
success of the events and the wonderful
comments received, this team spirit is a
major factor
To get the ball rolling and spread the word
about LGFB, Debbie organised makeovers at
Williams & Griffin department store in
Colchester raising almost £400. Next came a
fashion show held at Drapers Hotel, Earl
Colne, Essex which was covered by the local
Gazette on a double page spread. Four LGFB
beneficiaries became catwalk models, and
the show raised £400 which provided the
funds needed for workshop refreshments.
As Debbie explains: “At the end of workshops,
we offer tea giving everyone the chance to
have a chat and make friends, which means
we need to have enough money to make this
part of the workshop as good as the first part.”
To celebrate the 1st anniversary of LGFB in
Colchester, Debbie, Karen and Liz, along with
the LGFB team of beauty advisers organised
a tea party at the hospital. “About 42 people
joined us to mark the anniversary” said
Debbie, and this was covered by the local
paper who provided a page of photos and
an article about LGFB. Debbie took the
opportunity to thank everyone who helped
and supported the charity during the year,
making a special mention of Ruth Clark who
attended one of the first workshops and
modelled at the fashion show. Each year
Ruth dresses up as Mrs.Christmas for charity
and last year Ruth kindly chose LGFB to
benefit from her fundraising for which we
are very grateful.
Congratulations to Debbie and the Colchester
team on all these wonderful events and for
the fantastic publicity achieved in the local
press. As Debbie says: “For me to see the
ladies leaving our workshops feeling and
looking like a normal person, and smiling,
is what it’s all about. They are so inspiring
to me, and this motivates me to get out there
and do even more. I am constantly being told
by the ladies that losing their hair and
eyebrows is worse than the illness itself.
It’s not what you can’t see, but what you can
see that makes them feel they are losing their
femininity. We can help to change all of that!”
EDINBURGH TEEN WORKSHOP
In October last year we ran a second, hugely
successful teen workshop at Maggie’s Centre
in Edinburgh. Attended by 26 young people,
10 of whom were male, the workshop had all
the trappings of a fun party with balloons, soft
drinks and lots of chat, texting and numberswapping
between the boys and girls!
Annette Finlay-Price, Regional Co-ordinator
for Edinburgh and Kirkcaldy, said: “It was so
rewarding to see them chatting, laughing and
having fun - it was like a little club, all
courtesy of LGFB.”
The Edinburgh workshops often include
young girls, but Annette felt sad that there
was nothing for men, especially young boys,
who can also be very self-conscious about
the appearance-related effects of their
treatment, particularly hair loss. The question
was what could the workshops offer the
boys? So, Annette and the team at Maggie’s
Centre organised peel-off face masks,
balloons that were covered in shaving foam,
disposable razors and moisturisers, and the
guys put on the masks and had great fun
peeling them off. Gary, one of our regular
LGFB volunteers, showed how to apply
moisturiser to help counteract the drying
effects of cancer treatment.
One of the most amazing aspects was how
to draw in eyebrows - something that thrilled
one particular young man. During a visit
Annette made to the Sick Children’s Hospital,
David came up to her and asked “Are you the
make-up lady? Can you do eyebrows?”
So Annette showed David how to draw in
eyebrows and he was thrilled with the results
telling everyone “Look, I’ve got eyebrows!”
As Annette says: “There are things we take
for granted, and this story illustrates that men
and boys can be just as self-conscious about
hair loss and appearance, so it’s great that
we were able to help them too.”
LEICESTER
Leicester Royal Infirmary ran a teen workshop
in September and two of the girls have
written to us about their experience.
Firstly, Danielle Robinson tells us that she saw
a poster about the Look Good … Feel Better
session at her ‘Coping with Cancer’ youth
group. As she likes having her make-up
done and felt she could do with some tips,
she asked about it straightaway. She was
delighted when she attended and was given
her goody bag - “We were so surprised
about how much was in there, it was lovely
and very kind of them to give us that.”
Danielle was even more
delighted, if somewhat
embarrassed, to be
asked to be the model.
Danielle explains: “The
beauty consultant put
make-up on half my
face and I did the other
half. Everyone else
seemed to be enjoying
themselves as well, trying out the different
make-up. We got a step by step guide to tell
us the order to put the make-up on and I
found that really useful and still use it now.
At the end of the session, we all looked lovely.”
And she sums up the experience by saying:
“If anyone gets the chance to go, I would go
as it’s a great way to meet new people, a
lovely relaxing day and you have a giggle
as well.”
Emma McVeigh was another attendee,
who like Danielle was amazed at the gift bag.
“I had been told that we would be given some
make-up to use at the workshop, which we
would be allowed to keep afterwards.
However, I was very surprised at how fantastic
the free bag was. I hadn’t realised that there
would be such a wide range of products from
top companies.”
Emma found the
session very helpful
and informative and it
helped her see how
make-up could improve
the way she looked and
felt. “Cancer can make
you feel as though you
look terrible and thanks
to this workshop, I had
a truly fantastic day and it was a great boost
leaving the workshop feeling so glamorous
and special.” Thank you to Danielle and Emma
for sharing their thoughts with us and we wish
them all the very best.
“At Teenage Cancer
Trust, we know that
Look Good… Feel
Better makes a
huge difference to
young ladies who
are having cancer
treatment. Treatment side effects such as hair
loss and weight loss or gain can cause young
patients to lose their self confidence and self
esteem due to their altered body image, so
giving them the opportunity to be pampered,
receive fantastic products and feel better
about their appearance is invaluable.”
Simon Davies CEO, Teenage Cancer Trust
MANCHESTER
Medical professionals involved in the care of
cancer patients are always full of praise for the
work of LGFB and encourage their patients to
attend workshops. But when one of them
becomes a patient themselves, they can fully
understand the importance of ‘looking good
… and feeling better’ and maintaining a
positive outlook. Lyn Wildgoose has been
a radiographer at Christie Hospital in
Manchester for almost 30 years and when
she was diagnosed with cancer, she was
determined to carry on working. However, she
felt extremely tired and exhausted and “losing
your hair and eyebrows makes you feel a lot
less feminine and a completely different
person,” she explained.
Although Lyn was aware of the LGFB service,
she read an article about it in Boots Health &
Beauty magazine, and felt it was exactly what
she needed. The session made her feel more
like a woman again, it was very uplifting and
everyone was very kind.
“I watched the other ladies coming in and
everyone had their shoulders hunched, looking
a bit grey, down at the mouth, but without
exception when they left, their shoulders were
back, their heads held high and they had big
smiles on their faces - it was wonderful to
watch and see the change. I felt more aware
of my femininity, more in control, not a victim
anymore.” Lyn was extremely impressed with
the consultants, commenting that the
Regional News and Activity
environment is so different from the one in
which they normally work and as she explains,
“They all worked with such empathy and
kindness - it was wonderful. The whole
experience was fantastic and really felt like a
turning point in my treatment. I felt like a new
person - thank you so much for the service.”
NORWICH
Christine Rumball has been a hospital
volunteer at the Cancer Unit of Norfolk &
Norwich Hospital since 1996 and was asked
to run the LGFB programme there.
Christine has succeeded in raising funds
through a number of different events, as well
as coming up with ideas for little touches that
enhance the workshops and make all the
ladies attending feel just a little more special.
In her own words, she tells us about her work
and some of the events she has organised:
“A few years ago, with the help of my
husband, family and friends we organised a
BBQ for 100 people in our garden. We had a
quiz, ‘bowl for a bottle‘, an extremely large
raffle, cake stall, book stall and the BBQ.
It was a huge success and we raised £600,
which I split equally between LGFB and MS as
we recently had a very young friend diagnosed
with MS. Also a friend who was celebrating a
'special' birthday asked for donations to LGFB
instead of presents, which raised £400.
We recently upgraded all our mirrors, we
always buy Easter eggs and chocolates at
Christmas. Our 10th anniversary was very
special with each lady receiving a box of
handmade chocolates – the ladies really do
appreciate these special touches.”
Christine is helped by two breast care nurses,
Mary Wood and Jane McKay, who deal with
the administrative side and two other
volunteers, Sandra Baker and Margaret Bevan.
The workshops run very smoothly and
Christine is delighted that they have the funds
to do special things. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed
the last 12 years being so involved with LFGB.
Having had breast cancer myself, I know a little
about how these ladies are feeling, although
everyone is different and you have to deal with
it in your own way. LGFB gives ladies a real
boost - how often do you come to hospital and
have such a fun afternoon and receive a gift as
well? At the end of the sessions, when the
ladies come up to me with a smile looking so
good and they say how wonderful it was and
thank me and the beauticians - that’s the most
rewarding aspect.”
COPRA & Revlon Cake Bake
COPRA Ball
Held in November at the
prestigious Royal Lancaster
Hotel in London, the COPRA Ball
is one of the key Industry events
of the year when everyone gets
together - retail, brands and
media. For LGFB, it’s a very
important date as it helps to
raise essential funds.
Suzie Abel, the Chairman of COPRA and
Buyer from Jarrolds in Norwich, announced
in her welcome speech that to date the
organisation was proud to have donated
substantial funds to LGFB. At the 2008
Ball over £20,000 was raised through ticket
sales, from the Ball Programme which is
produced by Esprit magazine, a donation
of £5,000 from Look magazine and
generous raffle ticket sales and auction
bids. LGFB is incredibly grateful to Suzie,
Camilla Pascucci, Annalise Quest, the
COPRA Board and all guests for this
much-needed and valuable support.
Revlon Cake Bake
in Aid of LGFB
As part of their monthly fundraising
activities, Revlon International HO
held a cake bake fundraiser in aid of
Look Good...Feel Better on Tuesday
30th September. Staff entered their
homemade cakes with the hope of
winning a prize for the best looking
and best tasting cake, with 15
entries overall, it was a fun and
enjoyable afternoon. All other
members of staff took time out of
their day and donated money to get
a chance to taste all the cakes with
a cup of tea and to take part in a
culinary quiz.
The highlight of the event was
having Nigella Lawson bake some
lovely cupcakes specifically for this
event which were each then
auctioned off to the highest bidder.
Revlon made £300 from this
enjoyable event which will definitely
be repeated.
LGFB is indebted to the staff of
Revlon for their ongoing support
which includes fundraising and instore
activities, sponsorship of this
‘magazine’ and product donations.
Suzie Abel, Sarahjane Robertson and Susan Taylor
Nigella Lawson’s cup cakes were each auctioned
to the highest bidder
LGFB 2009 Workshops
9,000 Gift bags to fill!
Look Good...Feel Better is very fortunate to receive some fabulous products donated for our workshop gift bags each year, and 2009 is no
exception. Ever wondered how each patient gift bag comes together? Well read on...
At the start of each year LGFB discusses with its member companies the number of products required for gift bags in the following year.
For example early in 2008 we requested enough products to fill the 9,000 gift bags forecasted for workshops in 2009 ~ that’s over 150,000
products in total! LGFB has a generic “wish list” of products for the gift bags and these are:
Eye make-up remover
Cleanser
Toner
Eye gel/cream
Moisturiser
Colour Corrector
Concealer
Foundation
Much care and attention is given by LGFB
and our member companies to the choice of
products donated. For example, companies
are careful to choose products which are
gentle on the skin and colours that work well
within our four skin tone choices ~ light,
medium, dark and extra dark.
Each company has their donation shipped by
November each year to the Procter & Gamble
Loose Powder
Eye shadow palette
(at least two colours
with an applicator)
Eye liner
Eyebrow pencil or
preferably a brow
shaper palette
warehouse facility in Bournemouth.
P&G provides invaluable support to LGFB
by donating not only warehouse space but
also the provision of one full time employee,
Tanya Williams (pictured above), to data
capture and store products and the
subsequent picking and packing of gift bags
which are eventually shipped to our 52
hospital locations.
Mascara
Lip liner
Lipstick x 2 so there
is a choice of colour
Fragrance or body
cream ~ optional
‘luxury’ item
This is an outstanding donation from P&G
each year and LGFB simply could not operate
without their support and commitment.
LGFB would like to give heartfelt thanks to
the Beauty Industry for the support it receives
each year, and in particular to all companies
who have donated products for the hugely
appreciated patient gift bags in 2009.
STOP PRESS
The Look Good...Feel Better Task Force
Look Good...Feel Better has a
secret weapon when it comes to
ensuring the yearly Programme
runs smoothly and efficiently and
this is in the winning form of our
wonderful “Task Force”. Quite
simply, without the hard work of
the Task Force, the Programme
would not run.
Each Member company that supports LGFB
with beauty consultant volunteers donates the
services of one of its team to be a member of
the Task Force. This dedicated team really are
the glue that holds the Programme together,
primarily recruiting new volunteers, arranging
their training, ensuring that their volunteers can
follow the LGFB hospital rotas, and assisting
other brands when they are not able to send a
volunteer to a workshop by organising a
stand-in. In addition to this, the team are also
key to helping organise the yearly product
donations for our patient gift bags, as well
as a number of other projects that come up
each year.
We know the Task Force are incredibly proud
of the work they do to help support women
cancer patients ~ as Sarah Smith from Boots
No.7 (pictured above) says “Look Good
...Feel Better makes a real difference to the
way women feel about themselves during
cancer treatment, and Boots is very proud to
be a major supporter of the charity.”
Welcome to
Linsey
We thought you’d like to see the new
voice behind the ‘phones and emails in
Epsom. Linsey joined us in July, working
part-time as Assistant to Sarahjane.
Linsey has already left her mark with
her smooth, unruffled co-ordination of this
year’s Carol Concert and says
she is ready for all the new initiatives
coming our way in 2009.
Welcome to the team Linsey.
Here two other members of the Task Force
talk about their role:
MANDY CLANCY, Clinique
“Prior to joining the Task Force Team in
September 2006, my previous role had been
the Clinique Business Manager at Fenwick of
Newcastle, until I discovered I had breast
cancer. It was after my recovery that I
accepted the position as Clinique Look
Good…Feel Better Co-ordinator.
During my journey I received support from so
many different people and colleagues
throughout the cosmetic industry. This is what
gave me the strength and the fighting spirit to
get through it. As a patient, part of that
recovery came from attending a LGFB
workshop. I felt fragile in the beginning, until
the volunteers got the session underway.
They quickly created an atmosphere that
helped us all feel relaxed and made sure we
all had fun. I shall never forget that day.
For every workshop, my role is to find a
volunteer and sometimes this can be required
at short notice, as volunteers occasionally
themselves cannot attend the workshop.
From my own experience I can really
appreciate the support that each volunteer
gives, and feel proud to be a member of the
Task Force Team and this great programme.
It truly is empowering what can be achieved
from a volunteer, a lipstick and a smile!”
DANIELLA BELL, Clinique
“I feel extremely honoured to be part of the
Task Force Team, who in turn work closely
with LGFB to ensure that we have passionate
and caring Consultants supporting the
workshop sessions.
Having supported several loved ones in their
fight against cancer, I am privileged to be able
to support this wonderful charity and know
that I can give something back and in doing
so can bring happiness and put a smile back
onto the faces of patients attending the
programme.”
