FunctionThe governor is closed when it is disconnectedfrom the power supply.Opening: Alternating voltage is appliedand fed to the solenoid coil viaa rectifier with a suppressor circuit.The blue LED lights up. The coil’smagnetic field pulls the armatureupwards and clears the supplynozzle for the gas inlet pressure p e .The gas passes through the internalimpulse tube to the adjustment diaphragmand then pushes the valveseat open. The outlet pressure is appliedto the servo-diaphragm via theinternal bypass.
