PART V- DOCTOR’S REFLECTIONWhen I found out about this, I looked over her hospital chartand then I looked at my own notes. How had I missed that? Whatdid I do differently? I discussed this with my teachers and theyassured me I had done everything properly but I could not helpfeeling frustrated. I did everything right and still missed thediagnosis. I called the patient to see how she was doing but I wasnot really surprised when she chose to check up with anotherdoctor. I felt aggravated because I did not have the chance tofollow up. From now on I am not going to tell my patients to callme if they do not feel better.
