Spinolong 20G
• Advantage of a thick wall 20G Tuohy needle, which does not kink when entering in
contact with calcified ligaments or bone structures.
• Includes a 0.2µ flat filter with Luer-Lock connection to eliminate bacteria and particles.
• 25G PA catheter with closed tip and teflonized steel stylet which can easily be inserted
and withdrawn without kinking in spite of its reduced diameter thanks to an insertion
guide; the three lateral side holes guarantees a good distribution of the anaesthetic
solution in the chosen area.
• Includes Tuohy Borst Adaptor for a good connection of catheter and syringe.
Spinolong 21G
• Ideal set for patients between 50 and 65 years. Offers similar features as Spinolong 20G
with the exception of the Tuohy needle : in this case it is a 21G thin wall needle with
the same internal diameter as the 20G needle, reducing the diameter of the punction
channel but also the resistance to kinking.

• The micro spinolong set offers the opportunity to insert a 27 G PA catheter by means
of a 27 G pencil point spinal needle and guarantee, thanks to a 26 G (internal diameter)
IV catheter, the possibility of re-injecting without problems.
• The IV cannula protects the spinal catheter from kinking and compression, assuring an
easy withdrawal of the spinal catheter under any circumstance.
• A split cannula is used as introducer and can be withdrawn without removing the IV
catheter.
• The 27 G PA catheter is reinforced by a teflonized stylet and can be introduced easily.
