Clothing<br />
Protech Cantex is a new <strong>flame</strong> <strong>retardant</strong> fabric.<br />
Consisting of an inherent <strong>flame</strong> <strong>retardant</strong> fibre, pure<br />
cotton and a carbon fibre, this combination creates, in<br />
addition to high <strong>flame</strong> <strong>retardant</strong> capability, added<br />
comfort & anti-static <strong>protection</strong>.<br />
Protech Cantex garments have been especially<br />
developed for <strong>electric</strong>ians & the power industry<br />
(CLC/TS 50354), for workers who come close to molten<br />
metal (EN531) & for industries where static <strong>electric</strong>ity<br />
must be avoided (EN1149-3). In order to achieve the<br />
best <strong>protection</strong>, always combine Cantex outer garments<br />
with Cantex underwear (see Thermal Protection on<br />
page 137).<br />
