This allows a PC running astandard web browser to monitor live imagesand control the camera without the needfor additional software or plug-ins. Up to 50simultaneous users can access and monitor theimages of a single SNC-CS3P camera. And, byinstalling the optional IMZ-RS Series IntelligentMonitoring Software, up to 32 cameras can besimultaneously monitored, recorded and controlledfrom a single PC.High Frame RateThe SNC-CS3P produces images with amaximum frame rate of 25 fps, allowing for clearand smooth frame-accurate images to beviewed. The frame rate can be fixed or set to avariable rate that automatically adjusts to theavailable bandwidth.Network Security FeaturesIP FILTERINGUsing the IP-filtering feature, access to theSNC-CS3P can be restricted to one or moregroups of selected users. Up to ten differentgroups can be established by defining an IPaddressrange for each group. Setting thesegroups restricts access to the camera to thedefined IP-address range, while denying accessto all other addresses.PASSWORD PROTECTIONUser names and passwords can be assigned toallow four levels of access. While this viewingrange should cover a majority of applicationrequirements, the user has the option of usinga specific focal length to suit his viewingrequirements with the CS-mount.Selectable Image Quality and SizeThe SNC-CS3P provides the flexibility to selectimage quality and image size according tonetwork bandwidth. Employing the industrystandardJPEG compression format, theSNC-CS3P has a selectable compressionratio within the range of 1/5 to 1/60. Also, theimage size can be selected from four modes:736 x 544, 640 x 480, 320 x 240, and160 x 120.Backlight Compensation (BLC)The Backlight Compensation (BLC) functionhelps to overcome severe backlighting situations,which often can cause the subject of animage to be cast into a shadow.
