In previousyears, Pride in the Job winners have featured in a range of local andnational newspaper titles, including those listed here.News releaseYou can maximise publicity of your winner by issuing a news release.Contact your local paper and tell them about your winner and if you are having a site party invitethem along. Avoid holding events on Saturdays and Sundays as local press rarely attend events heldat weekends. Tell the journalist your story, emphasising the local link, and ask them if they would liketo send a reporter and photographer to cover the story.
