He has a broad range ofcommercial energy project experience, covering all aspects (transactional, construction, M&A, andfinancing) of oil, gas, and power projects. From 1994 to 1997 he was in-house counsel with ExxonCorporation. Between 1997 and 2004 he was resident in Singapore and Hong Kong. While in HongKong he was head of the Firm's Asia energy projects practice. He is now resident in London andMoscow.Peter is co-vice chairman of the Oil and Gas Committee of the IBA Section on Energy and ResourcesLaw and is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Institute for Energy Law at the Center forAmerican and International Law. He hasadvised on numerous transactions ranging from $20mm to $2bln including Petro-Canada’s acquisitionof Veba Oil and sale of BG’s interest in Tangguh LNG project.He was previously with Texaco in upstream business development and Gas & Power roles, and withShell International in operations, development, corporate planning and commercial positions inEurope, SE Asia and Middle East.Meb has a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from HenleyManagement College. He is a Chartered Petroleum Engineer, member of the <strong>AIPN</strong>, SPE and theLondon Energy Group. He is approved by the UK Financial Services Authority to provide corporatefinance advice to clients.Harry W. Sullivan Jr., is a member of the Legal Department of ConocoPhillips, where he provideslegal support for ConocoPhillips’ international energy activities. Prior experience includes: OfCounsel to Thompson & Knight L.L.P. in its global energy group; fifteen years with Atlantic RichfieldCompany (ARCO), where he was Chief Counsel in ARCO’s International Oil and Gas Division; andfive years with Sun Oil Company. He has experience in negotiating and working with grantinginstruments in more than 25 different countries. He has been the lead attorney for natural gasdevelopment projects in Indonesia, China, Qatar (the Qatargas 3 LNG expansion project) andMozambique; a major EOR project in Algeria; and for the “LUKARCO” joint venture betweenARCO and the Russian oil company LUKOIL.He holds a J.D. degree from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Herbert School of Law and an LL.M.degree from SMU’s Dedman School of Law. Mr. Sullivan has taught at Texas Wesleyan School ofLaw, SMU’s Cox School of Business, the University of Texas at Arlington, El Centro College and atnumerous seminars and short course, including the annual CAIL/RMMLF/<strong>AIPN</strong> International Oiland Gas Law, Contracts and Negotiations Short Course.He is licensed to practice law in the states of Louisiana and Texas and before the Supreme Court ofthe United States.
