Following assignments in the New Ventures and the FinanceDepartment within Wintershall, she joined the Negotiations Division in 1999 and consequently has beenleading Wintershall's major acquisition efforts of up to 1 billion project value each. Yvonne has a widenetwork of contacts in the European E&P industry, within companies and amongst investment banksand E&P advisories alike, and steers Wintershall's competitive intelligence which is a crucial part of eachcompany's New Business endeavours. G. (Mick) Jarvis Mick Jarvis is Commercial Director of WHAM Energy PLC, based in London. He is a graduate of theSouth Bank Polytechnic in Business Studies (1975) and has a MA in International Law from CityPolytechnic. Mick Joined Phillips Petroleum in London in 1975, working as a negotiator in Europe andAfrica. He moved to the USA in 1980, gaining experience in onshore and offshore land work beforemoving to Phillips headquarters in Bartlesville,OK as Director of Strategic Planning.In 1984 Mick left Phillips and joined Amoco, holding key commercial and negotiating positions in London,Chicago and Houston. Mick left Amoco in 1999 at the time of the BP/Amoco merger, when he wasManaging Director of Amoco International Gas. He joined PSG Limited, a pipeline development JVbetween Bechtel and GE Capital, where he was responsible for global Business Development and allcommercial activity on the Trans-Caspian Pipeline project.In 2002 he joined BG group as Commercial Director, where he was responsible for gas strategydevelopment and negotiations on LNG projects. Mick left BG in December 2004 when acting Head ofCommercial for BG group, and became a Director of WHAM, a company pursuing new explorationopportunities in the UK North Sea.Toufic NassifToufic P. Nassif, is the Director of Negotiations for BP North Africa in London responsible for thebusiness development and the growth agenda (new ventures) for BP in Libya and Algeria. Prior to hiscurrent role Toufic handled different aspects of negotiations for BP in Algeria as well as the countrymanagement of the BP Algeria office that included oversight and direction of office administrative andfinancial staff, security, corporate and ethical compliance, external affairs, social investment andrelationship management programs.Prior to his move to London in 1999, Toufic was the Director of Commercial Development for theExploration and Production Sector of Amoco Corporation, responsible for identifying and developing newbusiness ventures in North Africa and the Middle East.Toufic has more than 28 years in the upstream oil and gas business with comprehensive experience inenergy business development and commercial activities in North Africa and Middle East. He has extensiveexperience in petroleum operations and reservoir management. Proven large project coordination andleadership skills. Sullivan Jr., is a member of the Legal Department of ConocoPhillips, where he provideslegal support for ConocoPhillips’ international energy activities. Prior experience includes: OfCounsel to Thompson & Knight L.L.P. in its global energy group; fifteen years with Atlantic RichfieldCompany (ARCO), where he was Chief Counsel in ARCO’s International Oil and Gas Division; andfive years with Sun Oil Company. He has experience in negotiating and working with grantinginstruments in more than 25 different countries. He has been the lead attorney for natural gasdevelopment projects in Indonesia, China, Qatar (the Qatargas 3 LNG expansion project) andMozambique; a major EOR project in Algeria; and for the “LUKARCO” joint venture betweenARCO and the Russian oil company LUKOIL.He holds a J.D. degree from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Herbert School of Law and an LL.M.degree from SMU’s Dedman School of Law.
