Depending on the application requirements,up to four antennas with different characteristics can be connectedto the unit (see separate <strong>LPR</strong>® antenna datasheet).In addition to the distance measurement, the <strong>LPR</strong>®-<strong>1D</strong> radio link is usedto transfer distance readings between the units as well as other locally captureddata (e.g. hoist height measurement, open/close signals), acquired bya separate IO box.Therefore, all <strong>LPR</strong>®-<strong>1D</strong> units in a group share the same data pool and anyunit can be used to interface to that information.Seven optional on-board relays are available to switch dry contacts atfreely determined preset distance values and indicate the units´ power andsignal integrity status.Installation of the antennas does not require precise alignment. Parametersetting can easily be done with the <strong>Symeo</strong> Wizard PC tool. The Wizardallows to set criteria for switching the relays, set communication addressesand read all captured data.<strong>LPR</strong>®-<strong>1D</strong> operates in parallel with WiFi networks and other radio (e.g.voice, remote control) in harsh industrial environments.
