They helpus get in front of the right audiencein a friendly environment,” said MrIain Ambler, Simulation Specialist atprojectiondesign.In ParisUsing the same idea but with aslightly different format in France,Antycip Simulation focussed mainlyon integrated demonstrations – a wayto show that the company providestools that can be used together.“We are specialists in COTS toolsfor simulation and training. Ourmission is to help our customers todesign, build, use and maintain theirsimulation and training systems.We wanted to go straight intodemonstrations and discussions withour customers, and highlight ourtechnical expertise in this domain”,said Mr Bernard Langlais, Head ofEngineering for Antycip Simulationin France.The DemosOne showcase was astreamlined versionof VT MÄK’s battlelabsolution recentlypresented at I/ITSEC2010. The battlelabdemonstration wasa good example ofintegration of COTStools such as VR-Forces,EXata Cyber, GL Studio,AGI Smart, VR-Vantage,SensorFX, DI-Guy,VR-Link and MÄK RTI. Ademonstration room was set up withCOTS tools in action in the areas oftactical training, traffic management,sensors visualisation, terraingeneration and cyber defence.Guests’ FeedbackGuests at the Open Days includedmajor European training andsimulation systems integrators, aswell as representatives from theFrench Air Force, French Navy andFrench Army involved in training andsimulation. ”We want to know whatare the next technologies that we canuse in our future training systems”,mentioned a representative of theFrench Army.“It is very nice to see our customersinterested in spending time with usin this type of event,” commentedMr Ramaen, “our customers cansee at one go the entire scope of ourknowledge and expertise in simulationand training systems.
