The bottomend of cat ladders should be arranged at asuitable height above ground depending onthe accessibility required, but maximum1.5 metres above ground.<strong>Weland</strong> cat ladders are suitable for accessto towers, silos, bridge piers, chimneys etc.In case of high ladders, rest landings shouldbe provided. If hoop guards are mounted,these should end maximum 2.5 metresabove ground.
