News Release4 June, 2012Tecnam MMA successfully passed UK police trialN.P.A.S. (National Police Air Services) a specially founded body to co-ordinate the provision of airsupport to UK police forces, tested the Tecnam MMA during May and June 2012.Airborne Technologies configured its MMA demonstrator aircraft for this trial period, to the needs ofthe Greater Manchester Police (GMP) crew. GMP currently operates both a fixed wing and rotaryaircraft and has 10 years experience of fixed wing support all over the UK.David Clarke, Unit Executive Officer (Fixed Wing) GMP said:“We are approaching the end of the N.P.A.S. trial of the Tecnam MMA, prepared by AirborneTechnologies and as an operator I am delighted with its performance. The aircraft has been reliableand comfortable for our crews.
