Wedikind lost his hands and his eysight in a grenade explosion while serving in Vietnam as a Marine. Doctorsseparated the bones of his forearms into two large fingers which work in a pincher-like fashion, allowing him to grasp and feel. Bill saysHenry Ford had it right when he said, ``if you think you can or you think you can't, you are right.'' Wedekind wishes everyone could havea piece of his art and use it as an everyday reminder that you should never quit and give up.
