Noexamination is required unless specifically required by theUniversity.RECOGNITION OF UOW DEGREEThe programme allows Hong Kong in-service professionals andexecutives to study part-time and locally to earn an MBA conferredby a prestigious UK university and recognized world-wide.The MBA awarded by the University of Wales through part-timestudies in Hong Kong carries equivalent academic status andrecognition to a Master’s Degree conferred by the University tolocal full-time and part-time students in UK.18 16Graduates from this programme are eligible to exemple 16 out of18 subjects in the Institute of Certifies Management AccountantEducation Programme.ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS- university graduates; OR- post-secondary or professional qualifications and3 or more years of management experience.* The admission decision is at the discretion of the University.IELTS 6.5 5.5ENGLISH REQUIREMENTSTo be admitted to programmes taught in English, applicantsshould normally hold one of the following:- Completed at least 3 years (within the last 5 years) ofeducation entirely through the medium of English- IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent (no score below 5.5 inlistening, speaking, reading and writing)- Exemption can be granted to applicants who are consideredto be native English speakers through citizenship of the Englishspeaking countries, as recognized by the united kingdomborder Agency.Applicants who cannot fulfil any one of the above Englishrequirements can choose to study the degree programmes inChinese.4
