It has splendid views over thevalley and the sea below. There are a series of Lidos closeby on the coast at Isola delleFemmine, Capaci and Sferracavallo, offering, sunloungers, umbrellas, bars andwatersports. Close to Palermo, it is an ideal base for trips to the west of Sicily and,more in particular, to Segesta, Erice, Trapani, Marsala, Selinunte and the EgadiIslands. As far as beaches are concerned, Mondello is very close, while the small townsof Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo (about 30mins and 1hr away respectively), whichdelimit Lo Zingaro Natural Park, offer good swimming.
