The final selectionof candidates is done by the AFSB, reflectingfederal character.b. Minimum of 5 credit passes with Englishand Mathematics at the Senior SecondaryCertificate Examination conducted by theWest Africa Examination Council or NationalExamination Commission or GeneralCertificate of Education Ordinary Level orGrade II Teachers Certificate obtained in notmore than 2 sittings relevant to the Faculty oftheir choices.c. At least one supporting relevant creditto the compulsory credits in Faculty of Artsand Social Sciences and Faculty of Science.However, only one supporting relevant creditis required in the Faculty of Engineering.d. Be at least 17 years old and not morethan 21 years old at the time of entry into15
the Academy. Nigerian Air Force candidatesmust be between 17 and 18 years old atentry.e. Must not be less than 1.68 metres tallfor male and 1.50 metres for female.f. Must be medically and physically fit andmust be of good moral character.g. Must be single male or female withoutlegal obligation to support any child or otherindividuals.h. Present a certificate of origin obtainedfrom a Local Government. A certificate ofState indigeneship from the Office of theState Governor is desirable.i. In addition to the foregoing, candidatesawaiting results are not qualified and onlyexamination results of not more than 5 yearsbefore the date of application are acceptable.9. Vacancies.
