(specifically Kevin McDermott as senior consultant), Oak Park, Illinois, for support inimplementing the recommendations contained in the report of the Election Review Panel and forassistance in developing additional capability within the Clerk’s office to support those recommendations.Mr. McDermott will conduct additional analyses of issues raised by the report. He will also assist inoversight of Sequoia Voting Systems’ implementation of those recommendations that are the directresponsibility of the vendor, and will monitor governance of tests and protocols. Additionally, he willcontinue to work with the Election Review Panel as it continues in its advisory role to the Clerk’s office.Reason:Major Scale Technology Management, Inc. (Kevin McDermott as consultant) served as staffto the Election Review Panel established by the County Clerk’s office after the November 7th2006 general election. He managed and coordinated the work of the Election Review Paneland the preparation of the Election Review Panel’s report. In addition to his specificknowledge of elections, the problems that occurred with transmission of election results, andthe identified recommendations, he has considerable knowledge of issued related totechnology and operation management.Estimated Fiscal Impact: $50,000.00.
