Day One: Vancouver – Osoyoos<br />

Travel east on the Trans-Canada Highway to Hope. Continue east on the<br />

Crowsnest Highway past the site of the infamous Hope Slide. Enjoy the<br />

rugged beauty of this highway as it winds through Manning Park, which<br />

remains the most cherished route to the Okanagan. Drive through Princeton<br />

to the orchard town of Keremeos and on to Osoyoos. Sample some of BC’s<br />

premium wines at the Nk’ Mip Cellars. The desert city of Osoyoos is the first<br />

nights destination.<br />

Day Two: Osoyoos – Nelson Meals: B, L, D<br />

The day begins at Osoyoos with a drive eastward through some historical<br />

towns with a stop in Greenwood. Experience the flavour of the community<br />

with a Doukhobor-style lunch in Castlegar, followed by a guided tour of the<br />

Doukhobor Village Museum. Meander alongside the Kootenay River to<br />

Nelson one of the most charming cities in the Kootenays. Arrive at the Prestige<br />

Lakeside Resort your home for the next two nights.<br />

Day Three: Nelson Meals: B<br />

After breakfast a local guide will conduct a one-hour historical coach tour of<br />

Nelson followed by some free time to explore Nelson’s Baker Street. This<br />

unique area offers many arts and crafts shops, up close views of marvellous<br />

Victorian architectural buildings, excellent restaurants and much more. An<br />

optional afternoon drive to Ainsworth Hot Springs for a dip in the mineral<br />

pool is available.<br />

Day Four: Nelson – Vernon Meals: B, D<br />

Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Kootenays as we travel from Nelson to Nakusp.<br />

Highlights include a tour of the stern wheeler “The Moyie” a National Landmark<br />

in Kaslo. After a lunch break in Nakusp the journey continues to the Needles<br />

cable ferry and across Lower Arrow Lake. Continue through to downtown<br />

Vernon for a one night stay.<br />

Day Five: Vernon – Vancouver Meals: B, L<br />

The coach proceeds southwest to the High Country Region and Merritt for<br />

lunch. Travel south on the Coquihalla Highway to the Fraser Valley and back<br />

to Vancouver.<br />
