Frimley Park Hospital is one of the largest employers in the area with hundreds of different careers to choosefrom. Mr Chitty’s Health and Social Care students and a select band of other invited Sixth Formers weretreated to a welcome buffet, talks by various specialists; doctors, nurses and managers, guided tours likethose in the photos and a farewell goodie bag!A group of our girls can be seen talking about the work with the midwifein charge of the maternity area. Her demonstration of delivering a babyusing a life size model caused a certain amount of creative thinking!Some of the boys can be seenusing automated resuscitationequipment under the supervision ofthe emergency medical team.They had a shocking time with thedefibrillator. Other students wereplastered in the plaster room,manipulated in physiotherapy andCSI’d in pathology.
