A book list will be provided.Review Chapter 10. Student will create and implement a game designed forchildren 5 to 12 years of age. Further instructions to follow.COURSE FINALDesign an environmentfor typical and atypicalchildren enrolled in anafter-school and out-ofschoolprogramStudents will design and/or adapt an after-school and out-of-school environmentfor typically and atypically developing children who are enrolled in school duringthe day in the academic year. The plan will reflect a learning environment basedon best practices in school-aged child care programs. Floor plan will be submittedon paper no larger than 8 1/2 X 11" and will include listings of sample materialsto be included in each learning center. Students will cite course content andpersonal experiences to support their work.NOTE: This syllabus may be modified during the semester to accommodate the learning process.
