Because firstly, liquefied gas (Liquefied PetroleumGas, LPG for short) boasts a significantly better LCA than petrol during combustionin a petrol engine: around 10% less CO 2 and much lower carbon monoxide,hydrocarbon and NO X emissions than petrol engines are strong arguments in itsfavour. And secondly, refuelling bills are lower than those for petrol or dieselfuel – in some countries there are even major savings to be made due to taxconcessions.
