Light hors d'oeuvres willbe served.Human Resources SeminarThe Human Resources Seminar provides attendees with the opportunity to receive the latestemployment law interpretations and court rulings. This keystone session will cover case law andquickly changing trends affecting the airline industry today. This seminar will feature six sessionsfeaturing real challenges. Topics will include and how airline HR professionals successfully resolvedthem. The schedule this year will include the always popular Small Group Breakout sessions RoundTable. We will again highlight the Ask the Attorney sessions, which was incredibly popular when itwas introduced last year. One of the goals of <strong>RAA</strong> seminars is to strengthen the network of HRprofessionals so they continue to work for the attendees long after the seminar end. The schedule willinclude several opportunities designed to help attendees become a part of the industry’s network ofindustry leaders.Inflight SeminarThe Inflight Seminar will feature six sessions including discussions that will delve into key issuessuch as employee generational differences, FMLA guidelines and strategies, ADA accommodation,effective Inflight organizational structures, and airlines’ social media responsibilities. Additionally,we will hear FAA perspectives on cabin safety culture and FAA policy. The schedule this year willinclude the always popular Small Group Breakout round table. A favorite last year, the agenda willinclude “Ask the Attorney” giving attendees to the opportunity to receive insight and guidance fromFord & Harrison’s experienced legal staff.Drug & Alcohol Testing SeminarBack by popular demand, <strong>RAA</strong> will hold the Drug & Alcohol Testing Seminar the afternoon ofTuesday, concluding around noon on Wednesday. This set of sessions will focus on drug andalcohol use prevention policies and regulations. This year we are focusing on new regulations andtesting methods as well as best practices in the industry. We are pleased to have severalopportunities for networking with your contemporaries as well as several opportunities for you toask questions of your peers. As we had last year, FirstLab will be hosting a welcome receptionjust for the attendees. This seminar is a “must” for any staff involved in Drug and Alcoholtesting policies, and is a great way to learn from the experts and your peers.
