The iconic heritage building at Number 2 on The Bund, isthe iconic English Renaissance-style landmark dating back to the Victorian era, had long since fallen from grace, but it is nowreborn, recapturing the spirit and romance of its bygone era while creating a new benchmark in luxury travel for Hilton HotelCorporation’s first Waldorf Astoria in Asia. “Restoring this forlorn property was a tremendous honor and true labor of love, theultimate challenge of taking historical context and adding up-to-date convenience and style” said HBA Principal, Ian Carr.
