May 21, 2013WHEREAS, any agreement entered into under 3313.843 shall befiled with the Department of Education by the first day of Julyof the school year for which the agreement is in effect, andWHEREAS, the Clark-Shawnee Local School District Board ofEducation (hereinafter, the “Board of Education”) has an averagedaily student enrollment less than 16,000; andWHEREAS, the Board of Education desires to enter into anagreement with the Clark County Educational Service Center(“ESC”) to be in compliance with Ohio Revised code 3313.843 andto provide services including, but not limited to any of thefollowing: supervisory teachers; in-service and continuingeducation programs for district personnel; curriculum services;research and development programs; academic instruction forwhich the governing board employs teachers pursuant to section3319.02 of the Revised code; assistance in the provision ofspecial accommodations and classes for students withdisabilities; or any other services the district board andservice center governing board agree can be better provided bythe service center and are not provided under an agreemententered into under section 3313.845 of the Revised Code; andWHEREAS, services included in the agreement shall bedetermined by the Superintendent on behalf of the Board ofEducation and shall be provided to the district in the mannerspecified in the agreement; andNOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Education ofthe Clark-Shawnee Local School District that:SECTION IThe Board of Education, in compliance with Ohio Revisedcode 3313.843, hereby authorizes and approves the Agreement withthe Clark county Educational Service Center for the provision ofservices.Foundation deductions shall include the amount of per pupildeduction by ADM plus supervisor/extended service deductionallocated to all participating districts by ADM of personnelreported to Ohio Department of Education. This formula shall besuperseded by any new formula adopted by the State Board ofEducation for the fiscal year in which services are performed.
