The School’s aim is:“The rigorous pursuit of excellence balancedby compassionate concern for individuals.”Our approach provides a positive and friendlyatmosphere in which pupils thrive, not simply byachieving excellent examination results, but alsoby developing a wide range of interests and skillsoutside the classroom.Although each child will have a unique journeythrough the School, we want to inspire everyone totake advantage of the breadth of opportunitiesavailable both inside and outside the classroom.We are fortunate to have superb facilities and, moreimportantly, excellent teachers and support staff,dedicated to working together to offer the balanced,all-round education to which we are committed.Being a school just for boys up to Year 11 means wecan concentrate on boys’ interests and on buildingtheir confidence and self-esteem. We can designteaching that specifically meets boys’ learningneeds and preferences, but in many areas we alsowork with our local girls’ schools, allowing theboys to benefit from this social and academicinteraction.
