2007 Stainless Steel production down 2.9%According to preliminary figures released by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), global stainless steel productionwas 27.6 million metric tons (mmt) in 2007, a decline of 2.9% compared to 2006. The decrease in production occurred in moststainless steel producing countries and regions.
