Dear Merchants 3 May 2013SERVICE PROVIDER FEE/TRANSACTION PROCESSING FEE ENHANCEMENTSAs part of striving to continuously improve our service offering to our clients, Altech NuPay has had furtherconsultation with our legal advisors and would like to implement the following enhancements to the current ServiceProvider Fee. This should be implemented by all credit providers and administrative program providers as soon aspossible. There seems to be some confusion between the terminology of Service Provider Fee, which is utilized in theindustry, and the service fee which is stipulated in the National Credit Act. For this reason it was recommended toAltech NuPay that the naming convention from Service Provider Fee (SPF) be changed to Transaction ProcessingFee (TPF).Altech NuPay have added their entire letterhead to the mandate including contact numbers and address, as well asthe footer section which adds the names of the board of directors at Altech NuPay. An electronic signature of theAltech NuPay Managing Director, Sampie Pienaar, has similarly been added to the mandate. We are in the process of translating the Transaction Processing Fee (TPF) agreement into the other officiallanguages and this will be made available shortly.Altech NuPay is constantly working for the benefit of our merchants and would greatly appreciate your cooperationin updating all existing SPF/TPF documentation. Altech NuPay has also consolidated all the agreements for ourdifferent services into one single agreement. In order to standardize our documentation, as soon as feasible we willrequest all existing merchants to sign the new agreements.

A downsized version of the new TPF document can be seen below. Please also note that leave to appeal the high court decision in the Barko matter was lodged and on 2 May 2013the Pretoria High Court granted Barko leave to appeal. Altech NuPay has given their support to the industry, MFSAand Barko in this appeal. For further information please contact the Altech NuPay Contact Centre or the Customer Relationship Consultantson 011 617 1770/50.RegardsAltech NuPay management
