314 Circa 1900 AMERICAN STEAM CAR: this extremly rare vehicle is believed to have been
manufactured in Massachusetts or Connecticut in 1899 or 1900 and could be restored to
original running condition as it is approximately 95% complete. The Steam car is fitted with
Tiller steering, warning bell, original hood, seat and running gear. The original body
(with repaired toeboard and tailgate) has been disassembled and reglued with twopac glue
by a professional restorer to maintain its solid condition. It is also fitted with SOLAR lamps
as used by Henry Ford on his first car, the Quadracycle, and which date form 1896 onwards.
It would make an excellent display for a museum or collector.
