2.6 Municipal infrastructure (4 ECTS)The importance and role of infrastructure systems forguaranteeing material goods and connecting individualspatial units into unified city organism. Technical –technological characteristics of infrastructure networks,buildings and instruments. Infrastructure systems instrategic and implementing spatial acts. Dimensioningand location conditions. Equipping land for building:technical, spatial and financial aspect.2.7 Landscape Architecture (4 ECTS)Natural, cultural or urban landscape; typological andmorphological analysis of the cultural landscape;analysis of culturally landscape factors; developmentof contents and methods of spatial documents;sustainable and balanced spatial planning.2.8 Planning Traffic and Infrastructure Systems(3 ECTS)Students learn about different ways of implementingsustainable mobility with the assistance of integratestraffic systems and they from their opinion aboutdifferent methods of planning traffic network and trafficroutes. Through learning about the basic elementsof sustainable traffic policy, they set up the basicelements necessary for proper planning of trafficnetworks, traffic routes and traffic.2.9 Economics of the Housing Market (3 ECTS)introducing the student to the market forces of thereal-estate market and with the housing marketspecifics, real estate services for buildings, housingand land, and to qualify them for performinginterdisciplinary tasks in the real-estate market.2.10 Spatial Economics and Marketing (3 ECTS)The student learns about the theory of spatialeconomics, with strategic management of cities andlocal communities. The focus is on the selection ofpractical topics and the solutions which are useful forsolving spatial and economic-development problemsin Slovenia. The subject is intended for analysis ofeconomic institutions, management models andstrategic practices, through which we can manageand guide various economic influences on space.2.13 Practice Study (4 ECTS)A two-week study practice at the municipaldepartment of environment and space or similarinstitutions registered for performing urbanist servicesis an addition to the project work which is part ofProject Design Studio 1 and Project Design Studio2, the student learns about the tasks, jurisdiction andorganization of municipal urbanist services.3.1 Urban and Architectural Renovation (4 ECTS)The principles of heritage protection, protectionapproaches and methods in the scope of landscape,urban and architectural planning. Learning aboutthe work in the field of preserving spatial identityas the fundamental quality of living. The objectiveof the subject is to understand heritage through allthe layers of its incidence – as culturally preserving,spatial, developmental, economic and social categoryof space and include it appropriately into spatialdevelopment.3.2 Urban Design (5 ECTS)Learning the theoretical backgrounds and operativetools for research and interpretation of various urbansituations in the context of modern city (models ofcondensed and dispersed city).3.3 Representation Techniques 2 (4 ECTS)Various types of information are available in digitalform - how to use the computer for more advancedfunctions, such as creating and verifying spatial formswith the help of parametric objects and proceduralmethods. The more advanced method of working withcomputer introduces work with parametrically definedobjects and use of script expansion.
