Spirit Of Power, Strengthen Me !<br />
How marvelous is Your love and work, dear God!<br />
You grant me Your Spirit, the Spirit of Power,<br />
in order to restore my dignity, and my authority!<br />
Bestow on me Your Spirit and I will fear nothing,<br />
even if a whole army is encompassed against me!<br />
And even if the whole world turns against me,<br />
I will fear no evil!<br />
Neither will I be perturbed if Satan aims his arrows at me!<br />
As You are my Strength, my Protector, and my Victory!<br />
By Your Spirit You destroy my weakness,<br />
to grant me Your strength.<br />
You look at my orphanhood,<br />
and grant me Your Fatherhood.<br />
You remove all my sins, in order to give me Yourself,<br />
the Spirit of Righteousness, Sanctification and Redemption!<br />
When the world is gloomy in my sight,<br />
when I feel downcast, and depressed, because of my<br />
weaknesses,<br />
when I am attacked with hopelessness,<br />
because of my diminished capabilities,<br />
You enlighten my life with Your Spirit,<br />
and carry me as on dove’s wings to heavens itself.<br />
And kindle the innermost depths of my being with Your grace,<br />
so that by Jesus Christ I can do anything!<br />
I confess to You that I am weak and sinful,<br />
and I thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit,<br />
the Spirit of holiness and authority!<br />
To You is the glory, O Holy One!<br />
