Short Synopsis:<br />
A skateboardmovie about Dennis Gläser and an ant...<br />
or how a skateboarder influences the micro-universe -- the ant takes revenge.<br />
Synopsis:<br />
FORMIC is a special kind of skateboardmovie. On one hand we have classic,<br />
high-speed camera with dynamic and smooth jumps, on the other we<br />
developed the micro-universe of an ant. We enter this world by zooming in with<br />
3D animation. So we see how the skater disturbs the life of the ant and finally it<br />
takes revenge.<br />
Roman Kälin:<br />
Born 1985 in Einsiedeln / Switzerland. After his a-level in Pfäffikon<br />
2004, he was studying architecture at ETH in Zurich. 2007 he<br />
started his study of Animation and Visual Effects at the<br />
Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany.<br />

Florian Wittmann:<br />
Born 1980 in Deggendorf / Germany. After his a-level 2000 he was studying<br />
digital media at the academy of arts in Bremen. After this he worked as a
freelance graphic-designer and 3d-artist for Premiere, M.A.R.K.13 and Creation<br />
Club. 2007 he started his study of Animation and Visual Effects at the<br />
Filmakademie Baden- Württemberg in Germany.<br />
