Today it isregarded as one of the leading examples of the OttoWagner school. The Zacherlhaus was built by JosefPlečnik for industrialist Johann Evangelist Zacherl.One of its outstanding features is its highly artisticcornice. Today it is used as an office building.Walking along Wollzeile and the Ring, continuetowards the Museum of Applied Arts/ContemporaryArt – MAK (13). The walk concludes a few minutesaway at the Austrian Post Savings Bank (14), builtby Otto Wagner. This building was the headquartersof the Imperial Post Savings Office from 1904to 1906 and 1910 to 1912.
